At Hooves with Heart, their mission is simple—to provide exceptional learning experiences inspired by interactions with horses, small farm animals and nature. Their focus is on helping young people build confidence and life skills to help them navigate successfully in our increasingly complex world.

Located at Holly Farm, a 17-acre horse and small animal farm just north of Seattle, Hooves with Heart resides in a holistic setting where animals and nature become the teachers. From a gentle herd of horses to a lively band of chickens, there are endless opportunities for human-animal interaction.

Teaching Core Values

 

Hooves with Heart connects at-risk youth with horse programs led by Equine Life Solutions www.equinelifesolutions.com. Our partnership with Equine Life Solutions begins with a collaboratively developed program titled “Horsemanship to Leadership”. This twelve week horsemanship program is taught by experienced equine professionals with a passion for connecting students with animals and the environment. Through this connection the youth enhance skills in leadership, communication, compassion, respect and responsibility. A registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Hooves with Heart scholarships youth and young adults into programs throughout the year and works in partnership with King and Snohomish County community organizations such as, YouthCare, Recovery Cafe, and Cocoon House, whose focus is to support homeless, at-risk youth and young adults.
